VIP Early Entry tickets are $85 and allow you to enter the festival a half hour early (1pm) for first access to special and new releases and activities!
NA (non-altering) tickets are only $20. Enjoy locally-made NA beer and other non-altering options throughout the fest and at our designated NA tent. NA Ticketholders wear a special wristband and do not receive a commemorative tasting glass. (Note: THC samples are not included in NA tickets.)
Refunds: Festival is held rain or shine. No refunds, including if ABR must be canceled due to dangerous weather or other unforeseeable circumstance.
Every year, we turn away dozens of attendees who have purchased a fake or duplicate ticket to A.BR Scammers often buy a single ticket and sell it to multiple people, or copy our branding and create QR codes to mimic real tickets. There is no way for us to ensure the authenticity of your secondhand ticket before the fest, and those with fake/duplicate tickets will not be let in.
Buying your ticket directly from us is the only way to guarantee an authentic ticket. If you must purchase a ticket on the secondary market, please make the transfer AT the event to ensure the authenticity of your ticket and the seller.
The Guild’s mission is to promote, protect, and grow a robust Minnesota craft brewing industry. As part of that mission, we only feature Minnesota businesses and Minnesota-made beer at our fests.
The festival takes place at Boom Island Park. We encourage festgoers to use public transit, bikes, or taxis/ride-shares for this fest, and plan a safe trip home! See Boom Island Park on Google Maps.
Can I bring…?
Is this fest accessible?
ABR is held in Boom Island Park. Much of the fest is located on uneven/sloped grass that may be wet, muddy, or soft. Areas of the festival grounds may be difficult to access via wheelchair. There will be multiple ADA-compliant restroom stalls. Guests are encouraged to bring their own seating.
How early should I arrive?
Guests can begin the ticket/wristband process at 12:30 and wait for the fest to open in our ABR Marketplace. Once in the Marketplace, you will not be able to leave and re-enter. (There will be bathrooms and water access within the Marketplace.) At 1:30p.m. anyone in the Marketplace will be immediately let into the festival to begin sampling. Once the Marketplace is full, early check-in will stop.
Will there be any special or rare brews?
Yes! You can find the beers being poured on our beer list; more details will be available in the weeks preceding the fest.
Will there be non-alcoholic drinks?
Yes. Brewers are bringing Minnesota-made N/A options that will be poured in a designated N/A tent and throughout the fest. There will also be plenty of water.
Will there be an ATM?
No. All craft brew samples at ABR are free, and most marketplace shops and food trucks have electronic payment systems. Please bring cash with you if desired.
Will there be tickets day-of?
Likely not. ABR usually sells out at full capacity, meaning there will not be any extra tickets, including NA tickets. Please purchase your tickets early to ensure you’ll get yours! If there are tickets available day-of, you must purchase them online; we do not accept cash at the door.
What kind of ID do you accept at entry?
We accept any non-expired, government-issued photo ID.
Your ID must be valid. If your Driver’s License or Non-Driver Photo ID has expired in the last 12 months, you may present it with printed documentation of renewal/extension or a temporary ID from the DVS/DMV. An electronic version (on your phone) of the renewal/extension) is not acceptable.
Could the festival get canceled?
We do everything we can to provide a quality event for craft beer fans, and the health and safety our festival attendees, workers, and volunteers are of utmost importance. The event would be canceled if conditions that threaten the health and safety of people at our festival occur, including extreme weather, dangerous air quality, or other public health or safety emergencies. We make every effort to alert festgoers as early as possible if these conditions are likely, or if we have to cancel an event. Unfortunately, if a cancellation like this occurs, we are not able to issue refunds or reschedule the festival.
Why isn’t the festival longer?
This is one of our most frequent requests, and we wish we could! Unfortunately, we cannot legally make the festival longer. Minnesota law limits non-profit tasting festivals like ours to 4 hours. To get the most time possible, purchase a VIP ticket to get that extra half hour of sampling at the beginning of the festival.
I have another question.
